Financial Responsibility Starts Early
At Gather, we believe that building good money habits starts early. That’s why we’re committed to helping kids and teens grow into financially confident adults. Our Youth Services are all about creating a strong foundation—from learning the basics of saving to managing money and setting future goals.
When young people understand how to handle money, they gain more than financial skills—they gain independence, confidence, and the ability to make smart decisions that last a lifetime.
Accounts Designed for Young Members
We offer accounts specifically created for children and teens, with features that help them learn and grow at every stage:
- Kid’s Savings Accounts
Start them young! Our savings accounts for kids teach the value of setting money aside and watching it grow. With no monthly fees and dividends on every deposit, kids learn that saving pays off. - Teen Checking Accounts
A safe and simple way for teens to manage their own money—with guidance. These accounts come with an ATM card, check card, and optional parental controls, helping teens learn how to spend responsibly while still having oversight from a trusted adult. - Coverdell Education Savings Accounts (CESA)
Planning ahead for education? A CESA allows families to save for future tuition and qualified educational expenses. It’s a smart step toward making higher education more affordable—and more achievable.
Learning Through Experience
We don’t just offer youth accounts—we offer opportunities for hands-on learning.
Throughout the year, Gather partners with local schools and community programs to teach financial literacy in fun and engaging ways. From classroom presentations to events like Reality Fairs, we’re bringing real-world money lessons to students across Kauai.
We also create kid-friendly materials and interactive tools to make learning about money fun and approachable at home.
