Closing Your Account

If you would like to close your account, the primary member’s written authorization is required to close an account. The authorization must include:

• Account number
• Share type
• Primary member’s signature and date signed

You may provide this authorization by visiting a Gather Federal Credit Union location in person or by mailing it to:

 Please note: Closing your Regular Share also cancels your membership with Gather Federal Credit Union.  Please ensure any pending transactions, automatic payments, or direct deposits are stopped or transferred before closing your account.
